About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and visionary Global Medical Affairs Lead to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the global medical strategy for designated therapeutic focus areas of Hematology & Cellular Therapeutics. You will lead a team of scientific-medical professionals, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure the integration of medical insights into product strategies to support the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and further develop the Global Medical Affairs department in alignment with business unit goals
Define, implement, and oversee the medical strategy for assigned focus areas. Integrate medical strategies into broader product strategies to ensure alignment across functions
Serve as the primary medical representative and point of contact for all scientific and medical inquiries
Manage and prioritize departmental activities and resources, including financial and human capital
Build and maintain a robust network of global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
Develop and implement stakeholder-oriented training concepts
Your Profile
Proven experience in Medical Affairs leadership roles, ideally in a global setting
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate complex medical insights into actionable strategies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage departmental budgets
Advanced degree in medicine, pharmacy or life sciences preferred; doctorate (PhD, MD, PharmD) is of advantage
