Since May, Dr Christian Matschke has strengthened the Management Board of the medac Group as Chief Operating Officer (COO). His responsibilities focus on stable manufacturing and supply structures, high quality standards, and the reliable supply of pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

A long-standing partner becomes part of the medac Group. Cooperation with customers and partners will remain unchanged and will help ensure a reliable supply of medicines in Austria while supporting medac’s long-term development.

The medac group is strengthening its international brand identity. As of 1 April 2026, the company’s production sites in Brno and Dessau operate under the shared name medac pharma production.

The Management Board of the medac Group is now complete. Dr Christoph Willers assumes responsibility for Research, Development and the Pipeline as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO).

Today medac, a globally active pharmaceutical company specialising in therapeutic solutions for oncology, rheumatology, urology and hematology, announced the acquisition of Biotech Pharma, based in Dubai.
